Well, I would suggest bringing him to the veterinarian. He could be having trouble breathing, and something serious could possibly be wrong with him. Put 2 and 2 together, He is puking and breathing funny... I HIGHLY doubt that this has anything to do with being excited. He is pretty old, and when dogs are old it is much harder for them to cope when they have health problems. Here is a quick TIP: Miniature Schnauzers only live to be 12-15 years. So Frey is past the half way mark in his age. I am going to not only recommend, but STRONGLY advise you and your Father to bring him to the Vet. Who knows what kind of discomfort he is going through. Fresh water and food is a good thing to keep out. And if i were you i would be concerned for Freys health. There could a problem with his lungs, he could have fluid building up in them.
